When I moved back from Israel in 2017, I had to face a hard truth: I was starting over at 52 with no clear plan, just a suitcase and a lifetime of experience.
The easy thing would’ve been to dress it up and say, “I’ve got it all figured out.” But clarity required me to name it. I was scared, uncertain, and didn’t know my next step.
Then I reframed it.
Instead of seeing myself as someone who had lost everything, I chose to see myself as a woman free to create anything. That shift in perspective changed everything.
Finally, I claimed it.
I decided I would no longer define myself by what I’d left behind, but by what I was building. One step at a time, that ownership gave me the courage to move forward and it’s the same process I now guide other women through.
